Another compatibility question

Just purchased a 2007 GMC 2500 HD. I plan on keeping this one awhile, last one I kept 15 years. The question: I have a pail of Schaeffer's 274 #2 moly grease that I acquired and great expense and effort that I use in all my motorcycle applications. Can I use this in the chassis grease points on the pickup without running into compatibality problems? I took a look at the chart but I don't know what type grease is used from the factory. I would sure make my life easier since this is a one grease gun household.

yes, most all automotive greases are a lith based grease and schaeffers uses an alum complex grease.they will be compatible.

BTW, is this shaeffers grease suitable to use in electric motors bearings ?

Yes...You can use the 274 in electric motor bearings. If you go to www.schaefferoil.com, click on MSDS/TD on the right side of the page, then scroll down to 274. You can click the "TD" tab and get the application and performance testing information.
