That's a great report for an initial oil sample. The silicon is high but that's to be expected. That initial oil looks pretty enemic. The Mobil 1 with Moly should give you better results.

I think your 5K next interval is right on the money.

Surprisingly low wear for such a fresh engine.

But this oil ... geeez, talk about vanilla!

No moly.

No boron.

No thank you.

Mobil 1 0W20 should do well.

Yup, I am happy with the result.

This oil(should be Motorcraft/Conoco 5W20) does look plain on paper but gets the job done; seems to be good a oil for normal 3k OCI.
