I read sulphur prices have increased a lot because the ME is a major exporter.
China is rationing sulfuric acid and this will impact fertilizer shipments.
Either way, still better than being nuked by a regime that is intent on suicide waiting for the final imam.
As Americans, we are insulated from this relatively speaking and we'll be fine. All those sleeper cells and suitcase nukes...I figured they would have been used now if ones pope/president was vaporized.

So many things use “oil” or oil derived products, including making EVs, but every mile someone drives on electricity moves that dependency away from oil/gas.

I don't understand how some say they could be better off. We supposedly destroyed their navy, military installations, and imploded their known uranium enrichment facilities. Oh and the killing multiple generals and politicians part too.
There is certainly more to the story than any of us will ever know, for now, but I think they will be walking funny for a while.
Ideally we take out the regime but that's so bakedin to that society, that even those that want it gone, even if it were a majority, are too scared to do anything without the deeply ingrained police straight up killing them.
From what I've read we are waiting them out until their storage tanks are full and they have to shut down wells. That or they start pumping into the strait. IDK interesting to see what happens. I hope it wraps up soon. Gas prices don't bother me much but I don't want to see others hurting.
Now that we probably captured more intel, communications, and imagery, maybe a few more weeks of massive bombing raids and decapitation strikes and call it a day.
