... You wonder about shear stability index and deposits when you see "methacrylate copolymer" listed as an ingredient in your shampoo;
... You say "too thick" and think of 1030, 530 or 020 when the licence plate of the car in front of you contains digits like 1540 or 2050... ;
... The "what are you eating right now?" is your favourite thread.

You still play with the heavily dusted Lucas Stabilizer display....still.

You find a bottle of 0w16 and shake it in amazement and disbelief and truly admit to yourself and someone else there is no way that's going in a car of your stable EVER.

You give a second look to the 20,000 mile advertising from both Supertech,QSUD as you try to save money in this uncertain economy and see them under 20$ a jug.

Looks are given to the ST 20k oil filters, though you feel better with a Tough Guard or Ultra as far as fitment.

You laugh inside when you see someone buy the white can of Seafoam knowing it does nothing, has no PEA and costs more than the Gumout Multitune which is cheaper,has PEA and can be used to help lessen GDI issues.

You open the fram filter and finger the hole to make sure there isn't any snags or sharp metal slivers along with making sure the filter matches the box. You soon discover you knicked your finger, an associate has called the manager and after thirty minutes of first aid you get a 10 dollar gift card. After your near death experience you investigate and find a couple other boxes have been tampered with and you proceed to take them to the same manager to start a criminal investigation as a thank you for his helping you.

You provide tech support to the unknowing in the automotive aisle. Your summer job at a parts store as the driver gets a big jump in confidence and your tell them everything about oil that they didn't know and probably didn't want to know.

You see a jug of Supertech and wonder if it's from before or after that holding company bought whichever Warren company produces the product for Walmart. Bonus: You know there's more than one oil distributor with "Warren" in it's name.

You watch an old TV show with cars rolling over and all your looking for is what filter they used on the wrecked car.

You watch the movie Twister and you notice the tires on the Dodge Ram are Goodyear Wrangler AT vs. the tire Bill Paxton pulls from the back of his truck is Goodyear Wrangler RT/S.

Oh I've done the assisting in the automotive aisle many a time.

You see but another "what's the best (insert lube, filter, tie rod....."thread but keep coming back time and time again.

You find quart bottles of used oil (dirty because whoever the crook was that refilled them with used oil was not careful enough to keep the outside of the bottle clean) being sold at Walmart and inform the store manager that someome has returned used oil and the manager actually removes them from the shelf.

You secretly think that redbull only won their third F1 championship in a row thanks to the partnership with mobil, and that ferrari; mercedes; aston or renault are lagging behind because shell, petronas, valvoline and castrol were not up to the task.
You also secretly think that although Cynthia and Linsey are excellent drivers, "lucas stabilizer" is incapable of winning a single monster jam event because... well.... And it's not the drivers' fault at all.
