Purchased the collinite 476s through eshine Canada because the 845 was out of stock, I was worried how much work it would be to polish it off after reading some reviews. NO worries it came off my 2013 black sport ram with ease doing a section at a time. This stuff even shines polished aluminum rims like chrome; very happy with it. Thanks to all that recommended it.

All of Collinite waxes are great - I use Insulator for my wheels and 915 for my paint. I put it on thin, and leave it for about 2 hours and then use a DA to buff off, never any issues with removal.

476 will last a long time, probably 8 months, depending on enviroment.

I've used 845 before, and you're right - it was "da bomb".

How did the paste work on black? I would be concerned about swirl marks as I always thought pastes were a little more abrasive than liquid wax.

I have read about people putting it in a spray bottle and applying 845 that way due to how thin it is. Now that is awesome.

No swirl marks on my black paint; this wax has no abrasives.

This is how I do it. I usually give it 2 sprays on a finishing pad per panel. At that point it is almost a WOWO. Coats should be as thin as can be with Collinite. Thicker coats will only waste product and make it harder to remove. Collinite is great stuff. It has been a cult classic in the detailing world for years

I got mine from Auto Geek and will be trying out the ole DuraGloss 105 / Collinite 845 combo out very soon on my wife's red Mazda. Will let you know how it goes.

People assume a wax will improve a car's looks. It really won't. Any of them that do are using a temporary filler that will wash away soon.

I can show you my car after a good polish and alcohol wipedown. It'll shine like a mirror. Apply the wax and the look won't change.

The real purpose of a wax is for protection from deterioration. And none do it better than Collinite. That noxious paint thinner smell the liquid has is so it can penetrate the paint and really stick to it to seal it from contaminants deterioration.
