Wouldja Still Use...?...Old Motor Oil

The point to this is one data sheet I ran across mentioned storing at no higher than 140 degrees farenheit, which implies degradation. Degradation of the additives, or plastic containers I am not sure, but my guess is plastics.

It would have to be plastics or just a lazy data sheet writer. It gets much hotter in an engine so the oil-degrading doesn't make much sense.
