No. Ill stick with what I know is good. An oil thats more than just hype.
Lucas syn(or dino) oil is good to use as long as they are GF4/SM or GF5/SN and they are free. The Lucas products I avoid are additives, they are over-priced and do nothing good for your engines and in some cases may cause some harms.
If you're afraid to use Lucas oil, if you are in Orange County I can stop by to pick it up to release you some stress !!!

I use it in a heart beat. I ran it before and the UOA is the same as any other synthetics.
If it's API rated I probably would use it. I'd keep a close eye on it - check the level often.
If it has the API star I wouldn't hesitate.
Without a seconds pause. That oil is fine and for free, be thankful and use it with confidence. If you are worried, just run 3 runs of 3k miles. Any rated oil can do that without issue imo.
It's a typical 3-5k mile oil. FWIW. Best out there? No. Use it if you had to? Of course.
Heck yeah i'd use it, just stay away from the additives
There is nothing wrong with it. It is just horribly overpriced. If I could get it for free/cheap I'd have no issues running it.
So the question I have is what oil is he running now that he is not running Lucas?

WOW, if it wasn't far the last few logical responses, I would've lost all faith in BITOG.
Judging oil by the brand's name and giving "recommendetions"??? Is that what BITOG has become???
I know we have some good posters, but I see them posting less and less, I gues they realized that it's a loosing battle, shame, really.
