You mean like a rebadged, overpriced E-core JD filter? Dealers sell the same [censored]
stuff as Napa, sometimes worse. Its all about rebadging. One example would be NGK making sparkplugs for AC Delco.

Looks like an e-core based on the plastic center support. I think most here are not fans of e-core and stay away from them.

That Wix looks fantastic. This is an old thread but it appears Wix has always had the same excellent construction. No need to change excellence too much.
Some of the conversation on this 3year old thread about fram is interesting. Seems one of bitogs biggest trolls held radically different views just not so long ago. Anyway nice cut and post.

Wix makes filters for NAPA, but they also make them for other auto parts store house brands. So that doesn't seem like a real logical reason. Just buy them elsewhere or don't...but don't use your dislike of NAPA be the reason.
