Me too. Learned something I didn't know and I don't know if I ever need it.

I have the red handled Klein crimper/cutter. It's been to [censored] & back & I haven't found a substitute for it.

I like my Thomas & Betts WT111M. I have one at work and always seem to end-up using it. I like that it has two different sized "uninsulated" pockets for crimping, but then, I'm not much of a fan of the typical "uninsulated" style crimp.

I played around with mine some. It makes nice crimps! It took me a crimp or two to figure out how to use it. After that, it crimped very nicely! I was just amazed how much nicer to use it was than a cheapy stamped-steel crimper.

I know it's a bit late, but THESE are the best bang for the buck crimper I've ever used - and I've used a lot of crimpers including the Klein type in the pics. What I really like about them (besides their perfect crimp) is that they also do strain relief connectors. They're marketed by a few different companies (these are Pico I think) and as an added bonus some of them are sold as being UL 489 approved - my Matco ones are.

I got [censored] tired of cheap crimpers I bought one from Terminal Supply Co. in Troy Mich. Interchangeable jaws. I can't say enuff good things about it.Ratcheting action to hold your work.
