I have a question about michelin X radial. I'm thinking about throwing a set of these on the car in the spring. (even though I'll never get 80k out of em'). The car tends to get out some, but there are times where the car will sit for a while (currently at the moment) I've heard that this line of tire may not like this due to the softer sidewall. The current goodyears have held up good to just this kind of use. True or not?

These tend to be the favs at the moment (I've waited because I want to buy in cash), but if they don't hold up...

I'm no tire pro but,i tend to think not.Although i am not a fan of them, the Michelin should hold up as well as any other tire in that situation.

Agreed, if the valve stem and the wheels them selves arent leaking, then the tires should hold air for a long time if the beads are good. I've had the same air in a 89 f150 for 12 years and the tires are pretty rotten now. My dad had a set of bfg T/A's and they held air from 91- 04, two of them still do but the side walls have cracked open on the other two.
