Did you end up emailing Motorking about the problem? If so, what did he say?
If there was some "play" on the canister lip, why did you install the canister anyway? Why did you not resuse the old O-ring in the interim?
Not saying there wasn't an issue with FRAM, though I've never had any issues with their O-rings when doing oil changes on the 2GR-FE engines, but to call for a mass recall was perhaps a little over dramatic.
