Kenny died last July and I guess it never made the news. RIP, Kenny.

Tell the truth now. He has a reputation in this town of being Chief Rude Jerk. Did it start back then?

Aaron Rodgers is the ONLY quarterback in history with a career passer rating of above 100. He beats everybody, and that takes a bunch of measures into account.

Tell us about it.

But it's Buffalo, and unfortunately we have gotten used to it. No playoff games in 15 years......Embarrassing. Double

Those are all good names, but don't forget Peyton and Joe Theismann. Hoping Cam Newton joins the group in 10-15 years.

Depends on if good means statistically, skill, or a winner

Bart Starr...how many NFL championships (beyond his two super bowls)

Terry Bradshaw won four super bowls, statistically not good but rings are rings

Jim Kelly won four AFC championships

Jim Plunkett won two super bowls, again statistically not good compared to peers but rings are rings

Joe Montana was the best in pressure situations, oh and four rings

Dave Krieg put up some nice numbers, no rings though

I agree with Moon, plus five CFL championships during his prime years when being BLACK prevented him from starting in the NFL.

Being 42 years old & watching the NFL & a "Die Hard" Raiders fan since I was about 8 years old. Two best quarterbacks I have ever seen play are --- Joe Montana who had Bill Walsh as his coach and a plethora of big name/big game players to back him up. Joe Montana shined when the pressure was on also. The other being -- Tom Brady who also has Bill Belichick as a head coach & genius amongst all other names people will & do call him. To all the Brady "HATERS" out there --- do not tell me that you would not want him quarterbacking your team any given Sunday!!! P.s. I hated the tuck rule & cheating my Raiders out of the 2001 SuperBowl which they would have won with Rich Gannon & having John Gruden as coach.

I don't think the guys from the 60s and 70s and earlier stack up against modern players. I doubt they would be able to compete on today's college teams

I'm tired of hearing how the 72 dolphins are the best of all time playing only 12 games. I doubt they could beat a modern tier 2 college team.

I mean looking at the old tapes it looks like they're running in slow motion.

Johnny Manziel....well we gotta wait until he plays a whole game.

GO BROWNS!!!!!!!!!

The guys today are a bunch of puss bags

I am sure there is a Dallas fan or two, so Troy Aikman with three rings should be mentioned.

Well I turtlevette is off in this too.... Though the 72-73 Dolphins only played 3 teams with a winning record in their 14-0 regular season. In the playoffs they didn't exactly dominate their opponents... Each game was decided by 7 points or less.. 14-7 win over Redskins in Super Bowl, 21-17 win over Pittsburgh IN Pittsburgh for AFC championship game, and I think the divisional first round win was 20-14 I think.. Compared to the 85-86 Chicago Bears.. 21-0 over NY Giants, 24-0 over LA Rams in NFC championship game, 46-10 over Patriots in Super Bowl XX... Only one other team compares ... Well technically two.. But let's roll with 89-90 49ers... 41-13 over Vikings in divisional round, 30-3 over LA Rams in NFC championship game, and of course 55-10 over Denver Broncos. Both Chicago Bears and SF 49ers finished 18-1... I think if taken in their total season and lost season dominance... These two teams are at least in the top 5 all time. Those 72-73 Dolphins are in the top 10 for sure, top 5.??? Maybe.. But I would take the 78-79 Pittsburgh Steelers over them or the Oakland Raiders of 76-77 which went 13-1 in the regular season and win heir Super Bowl over the Vikings 32-14. Only team in NFL history in the 14 regular season era that sent 13-1 and went on to win the Super Bowl in that same year. Plus... They dominated pretty well in both regular season and post season.

Staubach, Montana, Bradshaw, Brady, Marino, Elway are good choices. Can't compare the 1970's to today. It's not fair. Today's players are loaded with chemcial muscle builders in high school or college. Had they been born 20 years later, they'd have followed current routines and stood out just as tall among their peers. Based on that, I don't know how RB Jim Brown did what he did for 10 seasons in the 1950's and 1960's not using supplements/chemicals. H. Walker, Earl Campbell and others plucked right out of their eras would have been stars today.
