Which filter for 2015 Murano

Considering a Mobil 1 M1-108 or a Fram Ultra 6607 or Wix 51358. Or should I use a genuine Nissan (Mann?)?
The bypass pressure is 11-14 for the Wix. 15psi for the M1.
Not sure about the Fram, nor the OEM.

Your thoughts?

none of the above. Carquest Premium 84356. silicone ADBV and gasket, 10k mileage rating and 99.5% @20um. that or the endurance are my only two filter recommendations currently. (you can also get the same filter as a microgard select, STP XL, etc or for the endurance the royal purple or the amsoil all at a markup).

I agree with @BrendanC on the carquest premium.

Of the ones you listed if I had to pick, I would personally go Wix.

Just FYI the Nissan OEM's are not Mann, their Grupo Gohner (spelling?) out of Mexico, and have been for a while - unless you somehow happen onto a made in Japan one somewhere - which you would not get from a dealer here. The Grupo ones are not very good, IMHO.

Don't worry about the bypass valve setting on any filter that is specified for your engine. If the filter maker doesn't know if it's good, nobody does. The bypass valve setting is also dependent on the filter itself (ie, dP vs flow performance and holding capacity), and that's why you will see 10 different brand of filters all specified for the same engine having a different bypass valve settings.

I’d just use oem or Fram personally. Always had good luck with either. The Carquest premium is a good filter, but the one I just installed caused a start up rattle on my crv. May have been a fluke or not. But use what you want

would definitely call that a fluke. i’ve spun on more Carquest Premium’s than i can count at this point.

I think I'll go with the Wix 51358XP. I'm in Canada, and can't get the Carquest filters without special ordering.

I bought a dozen champ xls from rock auto and they’ve worked well on 3 Nissans. As far as oem goes. Several times that I’ve installed one on our 18 rogue, I got start up rattle. Never got it on my 09, 21 or 24 altimas and the filter wasn’t defective in any way.

It may have still leaked down ... visual inspection won't detect reasons why it could leak out out of the filter.
