Where the heck can Iget rotella 10w30 in virgina?

Everybody looks at me like in nuts when I ask.Tried truck stops,wal mart, tractor supply and advance auto who has it on web but not in stores.Can anybody throw me a bone here?Thanks

Tried distributors but they only sell case lots.I just want to break in an engine for 500 miles or so.I think I will try joe gibbs oil instead.Thanks

A large Menard's store nearby (northern Illinois) has Rotella in 10w30, 15w40, and 5w-40. That store also had other automobile motor oils, oil and air filters, bulbs, headlights, spark plugs, etc. A smaller Menard's store only had a small selection of automobile motor oil, 2 stroke oil and such.

I'm was curious on my own behalf because after the current ARX treatment, 10w30 Rotella is going into both of my Jeeps. A previous post on another thread suggested Lowe's, and I have been on the alert. The Lowe's near me didn't stock Rotella.

My Menards has it seasonally, and Rural King has it year round (in both gallons and quarts, no less).

My local AAP said they could order it for me, but I'd have to pay retail ($12.99/gal at the time). I can walk in and get it for $10.99/gallon at Rural King.

If you want dino HDEO 10w30 that bad, you may have to order and pay full retail.

Since the local Wally's stopped carrying it,

I've been carefully hoarding my small stash (I use it in my F150 and some lawn/garden stuff).

I've gotten the same response in my part of Virginia too. I'm tempted to mix 15w40 HDEO and 5w30 PCMO to get close. May not work for your application, but probably just fine for my OPE.

I have a hard time believing that the product isn't available in some form. Lots of stuff uses 10w30 HDEO. It may be the Rottela line. Has anyone tried to find PZ LL 10w30 ..or ANY 10w30 HDEO? Sopus can't just have no demand for this over a larger region.

Depending on your scale of useage, I think it's okay to mix 10W and 15w40 to get your 10w30. I did it, but that's just me. 10w is a 20 weight with
Naturally you're buying at least one 5 gallon pail. The 15w40 you can buy by the gallon.

FYI, It was easy for me to find Delo 10w30 at my local Chevron bulk lubricant dealer. They no longer produce it in quarts so I had to buy a 6 gallon case.
