My choice: cremation and have ashes spread over the shores of the river I played near as a child.

This topic came up in a conversation with friends a while back. You can't just dump ashes as you please. It's more complicated (naturally).

When I die I'd like to have my body burned cracklin and poppin to give it some good pay back for all the pain its put me thru.
Her death was the result of no seatbelt in a Jeep w/o the roof on (CJ-style) and a driver that just didn't pay attention. There was a cop who pulled someone over, the driver looked at the cop rather than looking at the road, then they clipped the car in front of them, she was ejected upon impact & went flying and landed on her head. He screwed up his hand & arm but is otherwise OK.

I figured as many times as I've rolled the big outdoor trash can up to the curb, it could finally return the favor. Of coarse, hopefully it would be on the day the trash collectors picked up, or the neighbors would yet have something else to complain about.
