I need to get some oil filters for my newly bought Corolla with 1ZZ-FE engine.

Where is your preferred place to get it? I only see it on some shelves for close to $7. Sounds high when syn-blend oil change special with PureOne filter $22. Anywhere I can get it less than $7?

Yeah, I have plenty of oil but not enough filters. Plan to run PP in my next OC.

when I was using Purolator's, I got them at PepBoys.
I know KMart has them and I have seen them at Sears's auto center store too.

Advance Auto Parts with on line codes will get you PureOnes for barely more than an entry level filter. Kmart also runs flaming deals on them every once in a while but they don't have as many sizes available, depends on how common your size is there.

AAP charges $6.99 for the ones that fit the Ford 4.6 eights. I've gotten most of them with AAP oil change specials or using 30% off discount codes ordering on line, which bring them down to $4.89, not bad. I pick them up at the store across the street from where I work, no shipping charges.

Advance Auto or PepBoys on a sale. If in desperate need, Advance Auto with a coupon code.

+1
AAP will offer them @ 5.00 every now and then.
Combine that with a 40% coupon code and you have a winner.
I've loaded up twice using that deal.

Im a big fan of Pureone filter, but the last couple of times I have used Wix made CQ Blue line filter and I must say Ive been impressed ( no start up noise and oil stays clean for a while ).

Walmart often sells them around $5.60. If you are paying more than $6, you are in the wrong place.

Used to get em @ PepBoys when on sale.
Check each box... I was at PepBoys where someone did a switch-a-roo (placed a cheap filter in a Purolator box).

Most Walmarts do not sell PureONE filters; if yours does, you are lucky!

Ohio is just a lucky kind of place then. I have purchased PureOne filters at a number of Walmarts in the state.

Meijer, a regional super center, also sells PureOne for under $6.
