It appears these do a heck of a job at filtering, so where can you buy them anyway? Is there a place where I can buy them for cheap online? Also, different question but how often are you supposed to replace your fuel filter? Its not mentioned in maintenance schedule, I just wondered.

Advance Auto Parts sells the Delco filters but it must be ordered from the warehouse, it's not a regular stock item in the stores.

30,000 miles is the typical air filter replacement interval.

You probably got that from reading Spicers' test report. He sampled one application. What I got out of the test report is that paper good, oiled bad, and not necessary AC Delco good. Remember that most air filter manufacturers repackage others' filters for low volume applications. Will an AC Delco for a Toyota be top notch for a Toyota sedan, it may, or may not...

I'd just stick with a quality paper filter and forget about it.

Yes

Okay, but still I like peace of mind and the fact they lasted the longest too. Do you have anyother suggestions for a good filter/money combo? Since I don't replace filter much I'm more worried bout quality though.

Still wondering about the fuel filter

I always heard 60k for the fuel filter when you're inspecting everything else like the suspension, coolant and so forth.

AC Delco filters are available at any GM dealer. If you have a current GM vehicle they would have it in stock otherwise go look up AC Delco's website and find a retailer near you. You can even look up parts there.

K-Mart used to carry AC Delco but they closed all the stores in this area so you will have to take a look if they are any in your locale.

Is that an engine bay filter or under the car filter?

All the K-Marts I've visited recently were Fram only.

Just received two AC Delco air filters for my Saturns from Rock Auto. Highly recommend that place.

The local store only carries Fram and their house brand type.

Be advised that AC Delco is one of the brands that is counterfeited a lot.

Some of the big box auto parts stores have been known to sell these phony parts. So make sure you are really buying AC Delco. Check the box closely and the parts for ID codes etc. If there is nothing on the parts such as part numbers and other product codes, you just might have a phony part.

Check acdelco.com or your phone book for an AC Delco store. A lot of bigger cities have them, and their prices are usually lower than the GM parts counter.
