Just did a Wheel Alignment for my 1990 Toyota Corolla and paid $70 plus tax. Last time I did an alignment was in a different shop and city I paid $50. How much should the average Wheel Alignment cost since it is a 20 Minute job and just adjustment of parts?

If it's so easy why don't you do it?

If your 23 year old salt belt car didn't have anything frozen it was the tech's lucky day. They don't know that going in. To answer your question, I know a guy who only does alignments and he's around $50 in a "not rich part of the world."

If you find a good alignment guy, willing to "adjust" (grind) non adjustable bits like camber and caster he's worth the premium over someon who just sets toe. Toe will mess up your tire wear but the other two specs are important for the car pulling straight. They are also "factory sealed" on many macpherson strut setups and only need adjusting if you hit a curb/ pothole, which is basically everybody.

$50 for a four wheel is a good price, one that I used to get with coupons or when combined with tire purchases. Hard to find now-a-days. $70-90 seems to be the 'norm'.

Vehicle dependant but a proper four wheel geometry check in the UK is around £45-80 depending on vehicle and some cars need to have camber bolts fitted to allow camber adjustment.

I haven't bothered with a basic "alignment" for years, normally make things worse as often as they help.

I had Prodrive Geometry settings on both of my Subarus, 2004 WRX and 2004 Legacy (later shape forgot model number).

If $50 is for a proper geometry check and adjust I would say that is cheap.
