Much like the price of gas this shows the disparity across the country. Milk in this area is as high as $5.60 or so, walmart is $3.50-4.00. I'm sure I could find it higher but none lower.

That's why most price controls were first instated. Milk is such an oddity. No one is going to drink more of it if you make it cheaper ..nor are they likely to drink any less of it if it gets more expensive ..no one is going to stop buying the bread and other products that it goes into..etc..etc.. If it gets too expensive ..and dairy farmers respond with more dairy cows ..they end up with a glut and lose money.
We need a milk lake and a butter mountain like they have in some places.

Prob is. I go there only to get a gallon of milk as its close to the house. Other than that, never shop there. The prices are higher than any place else.
