What's That Noice??

While driving, if I take my foot off the gas I get a whine. When I put my foot back on
the gas the whine disappears. Opinions? Thanks

Are you sure it.s from the engine. ? To me it sounds like diff noise.

Sounds like a drivetrain noise. Depends on the car in question to guess what it may be.

Outboard pinion bearing if it's a rear diff.

Pinion bearing.

Typically, I find it's my wife....I can't hear her over the exhaust noise when I'm accelerating. It could be the pinion bearing too.
