The car uses the engine from the early 2000's Toyota Celica, a 2ZZ-GE. The manual says 5W40. Would that be good with the aftermarket turbo system? Would 5W50 be a better choice? It only has 25,000 miles.

I used Redline 5w-40 in mine.
The 5W40 should be fine, the bigger thing to worry about on a 2ZZ that you're putting a turbo on is what fuel you're putting in it to keep it from knocking.
Is yours boosted?
I was looking into E85 but I won't be beating on it before selling either.
was (just sold it), factory accessory supercharged.
