What things do you not like about your car?

Corolla - it's boring to drive as an automatic.
Le Sabre - it looks like a grandpa car.
Sierra - it consumes more fuel than my other cars.

2012 Camry LE 72k miles. I like the looks of the SE better than the LE but the ride is much better with the LE and seats seem fine to me. Between lower profile tires, sport suspenion and possible firmer seats it gets old on hwy trips. Something my brother mentioned since he travels alot and has rented both versions of the Camry. I thought he was exaggerating a bit about how bad the ride is on the SE but maybe not.

I remember my dad complaining about it with his first Camry. He went from an 86 Riviera to a 92 Camry SE V6. Even back then it rode very bumpy compared to an LE.

Yes, the power seems much better after 3k rpms. Almost like a turbo when the power comes on. Apparently the new ones are even worse with feeling no power at low speeds/rpms.

I think that's when the variable timing kicks in, but can be annoying sometimes. I keep it in sport mode for the mountain runs so it stays right in that RPM range. For open country it's adequate. Think I'm just used to the little turbo motor in the GTI.

I hate the capless gas tank. Plus anyone can open the outside door of the gas tank. If somebody leans on your vehicle it will open as it happened to me several times already.

Transmission programming/shifting is awful - either lugs and won't downshift; OR drops 2 gears and screams like a banshee;

Geared too high - needs a 5th speed, or re-adjusted ratios - over 3k at 65mph;

Also, because of the gearing, spins the tires waaay too easily at take-off in the wet;

Timing belt in engine is due now, chain wouldn't need to be done.

The only thing I don't like about our 2015 Sienna is that the transmission is shoved into way too high of a gear for in town driving, which always has the engine lugging...when driving in town I put the gear selector in manual and pull it down a gear...

You should drive a newer Corolla with the CVT...boring to drive they ain't...

That's not a problem with the 4 speed auto in your Corolla. Downside is the higher revs on the hwy but great for around town.

One thing I dislike about all Toyotas. When you turn the ignition off, it kills the cruise control enable function. In other words, you have to re-enable the cruise control before you can set the cruise every time you turn the ignition off. The way it SHOULD be setup is if the cruise was enabled when the ignition was turned off, it should still be enabled when you turn it back on...

IS250: intake carbon deposit, and the concern of transmission problem down the road (expensive, low inventory in junkyard)
Integra: engine cooling system, rebuild may not last long
Corolla: only 3 speed auto, high rpm and loud on highway speed
Camry: V6 fuel economy is low
Prius V: potential HG issue, I know the hybrid battery life expectancy so it is ok.
Mazda5: rear strut life expectancy
Former, Escort: broken AC, broken struts, potential valve seat drop, it is quite fun otherwise.
Regal: the style is old and boring, the intake manifold gasket
Former, Taurus: transmission shift funny, brake rotors warp, low quality interior

I'm pretty forgiving on cars, other than reliability issues

2001 Tahoe.

Rust, window regulators, squeak in passenger side dash (which I have spent hours trying to figure out), just a lot of general inattention to detail as compared to Japanese products I've driven in the past. Fit and finish of body panels isn't great.

Check for a torn bushing. My '01 Sentra had one from the factory. Didn't start squeaking until about 12,000 miles, but when they finally found the source of the squeak and removed the control arm, they found a bushing that had been torn since assembly.

Truck's horn is the worst horn on the planet. It is LONG.

Caprice is black hard to keep clean and the front seats are cloth and the rear ones are vinyl.

I don't drive the Malibu enough, but the 19 inch rims are odd.

My only 2 complaints about the Trans Am is the weak 10 bolt rear end. I have replaced it but it was a pile.
The could have spent a little more money on the interior. Mine has wore well but it is garaged and I take care of it.

XTerra: The MPG. Granted, I knew what to expect, but the reality of driving 2,000 miles at 13-14 mpg (fully loaded, towing a trailer, with the added resistance of two kayaks on the roof, but still) is that it sucks. Our 4-cyl Tacoma managed 16-17 under the same conditions and I thought that was bad enough, although it had absolutely no power and isn't 4wd.

Cavalier: It isn't an f-body. I'm going to remedy that soon.
