Here are mine...04 Tahoe: seatbelts! They rub on your kneck in every seat. When my wife was doing Lyft with it she got a few bad comments about them from customers.

f250..: has the turning radius of a bus. Every parking lot ends with a 5 point turn just to get it between the lines.

02 Wrangler...: Runs hot. Always has. No amount of radiators, fan clutches, thermostats etc will fix it. How hot you ask? Well the computer will turn off the AC and turn on the check guages light @260 degrees. Does not seem to hurt it. Just aggravating.

4th gen Maxima

the rust (radiator support failure is very common on these cars)
no cabin air filter
too many failures of engine electronics (MAF, TPS, etc)
transverse V6 hard to work on (like when you need to replace valve cover gaskets)
poor mpg
back seat doesn't fold
did I mention rust?

I have more complaints about my Challenger than any car I've owned, but I still love it.

Brake dust - I've never had a car produce the amount of dust this car produces. I wash it and 100 miles later the wheels are dirty. It's so bad, I have to pressure wash the driveway after I wash the car.

Gas mileage - It hates being short tripped. Short trips (less than 2 mi) result in 13 MPG. I live in the city so most trips are short.

Visibility - I still have a tough time judging where the corners are. The backup camera is useless, it's mounted in the spoiler and doesn't show the edge of the bumper like other vehicles I've had. BSM and all the other sensors help with the blind spots but I still like to see.

Otherwise the car kicks a**

The only thing I kinda hate on the Mercedes is the wheels. Those 18 inch wheels and 40 series tires leads to flats and bent rims. I guess maybe they did get too many complaints and went to 17 inch and 45 series tires in the next generation, but I think in the latest one they're now back to 18 and even 19 inch tires. Basically they're picking style over function.

'05 Chevy Silverado- Ridiculously prone to rusting. (and oh boy has it done so)
'11 Mazda 2- heat and air conditioning are mediocre (bonus points for having good old fashioned cable actuated controls though)
'87 Mazda RX7- interior electronics prone to failure due to bad solder joints.
'13 Taurus (wife's)- literally everything...truly terrible car. The worst aspects of it are the Microsoft Sync system and the tiny interior.

Bonus whining:
'14 Honda Grom- Completely gutless, vibrating engine. (but it's a glorified pit bike, so I can't really complain.)
'09 Yamaha R6- Hurts my neck. Makes me look like a bro

The 1/4 windows would be pretty useless on their own, but my car came with the painted louvers that make them completely useless.

No back-up camera and no way to add one that looks factory, see the 1/4 window louver complaint as to why this is important.

Driveshaft slop at low speed, no matter how I shift there is a bang from the gearbox and them a slam from the driveshaft. High speed I feel like Tony Stewart, low speed I feel like I have clown shoes on.

Rear end whine, supposedly every car that came with a Torsen and 3.73s has it, but I cam hear it over my Borla ATAK exhaust. Also I put on the Ford Racing BOSS 302S rear lower control arms which have spherical rod ends instead of rubber bushings. Handling is amazingly improved but now it sounds like my old Mustang that had coilovers, even clunking from the front end.

Brake dust!!! I have seen stock cars and F1 cars dust less than my fronts, even with the new updated pads from Ford.

Other than that, I really love the car. Anytime I don't feel into it, I do a blast up through 4th or 5th on an onramp and then have to let off quick because it is way over the speed limit.

My Infiniti's rad support had rust problems, too. On the 5th gens, the upper intake plenum had to be pulled to get to the rear VCG. They'd always prematurely fail from all the heat soak back there.

in sig file;

Hyundai--horn sounds like it was made by Fisher Price (Baby's First Horn)
Mercury--"Ultimate Edition" and yet there's no light on the ignition? And the cup holders blow.

People always make it seem like I talk the world of my cars and think they are perfect. They aren't though..

The 99 Camry has bad cupholders. They are hard to clean, not many big cups fit, and they make it easy for things to spill when turning hard. This car also has the rather heavy 5S-FE engine. This causes the car to have somewhat bad understeer and poor balance which isn't made any better by the soft suspension. I really do wish they would have used a rather more advanced suspension set up for this car to improve handling while retaining comfort aspects. The engine is rather refined for a four cylinder, but has little power. Again a lighter engine perhaps an all aluminum version would help this or ACIS to boost both low and top end. One little gripe is the rather narrow tires.

The 98 Prizm is actually a very underrated car. Go ahead. Judge me. However, the 4 speed transmission is reluctant to upshift. Yes, upshift. It will hold on to gears for far too long. The car has always done this. The cupholders are in the dash just below the radio, so if you have drinks in them, you must take them out to adjust the station/settings. This car desperately needs a center console with an arm rest. Our car does not have a rear folding seat. Not sure why that was a good idea. No tachometer.

The 14.5 Camry. The more we drive this car, the more we actually find that we dislike. The ride is too hard for our likes. There is too much road noise. It is louder than my 99 by quite a bit. The OE Michelins are still quiet as a church mouse, but the car still is noisy. The doors also sound horrible when they shut. Almost like a tin can. The radio has a non-responsive portion on the bottom right hand corner. Conveniently right over the sound settings button. The transmission is rather busy. I read this in a review and didn't believe it, but it is true. The car will accelerate fine but any slight incline and it will drop a gear just to end up shifting back up a second later. The fit and finish is rather poor for its time period as well. The engine has the variable valve actuator noise at start up as all of the 2ARs do. It is also somewhat noisy at idle.

All in all, we absolutely love our cars, but they are not perfect despite being Toyotas!

Mazda 6: I feel it’s almost perfect, but the throttle lag is pretty annoying. Makes it hard to do rev matching. Im annoyed I couldn’t get a sunroof with the manual transmission. I also am annoyed there’s no real gauges. I’d really like a coolant temp gauge at the least, and it would be nice to have oil pressure. It also consumes a little bit of oil. My wife hates the cup holders but I’m not bothered. I usually look for more serious things to nitpick, except I really hated the cup holders in her Yaris. Hated that car in general though.

F150: nothing to say. It’s got it issues but it’s a [censored] good truck that has been excellent in spite of the maintenance it received from 30 to 238k miles when I got it. Well I’ll say one thing. I wish it didn’t have such bad gearing so I could have a decent tow rating.

Lucerne: not a bad car but very blah and uninspiring. It could use more power although I’m glad I don’t have the north star v8. It gets terrible fuel economy.

I don't like the horn and lack of aftermarket parts that the SI's get and R18 doesn't. Wish seats were a bit bigger. Maybe I just need to get smaller.

My 2010 Mustang had a clunk in the front end and it was a deteriorated sway bar center bushing. I replaced them with the replacements from LMR along with end links and it's quiet now.

I had the same issues with mine. It got excellent fuel mileage on a trip (26-27) but not so good around town (high teens). I had the 5.7 with a manual trans.

2010 Mustang and 2018 Mustang: parking brake lever should be on the right side instead of driver's side. It hits my leg.
2012 Silverado: Cloth seats have a felt texture on the backs that attracts dog fur like a magnet and it's hard to get off. I'm going to have the seats done in leather when I get a few extra $$$ laying around.
