What Synthetic oils have you NOT liked?

I just tried G-Oil 5w30, but it seems a little thick and my fuel mileage has decreased. I'm going back to Motorcraft 5w-20 full synthetic tomorrow.
Mobil1 was the only synthetic that really impressed me. Removed 100% of the varnish from our Toyota Echo in one OCI.
The only other synthetic I have tried is Supertech, and I was very unimpressed.
Just my 2c, I don't use a lot of synthetics because I drive less than 8,000 miles a year, I'd never see a ROI.

When I read oil analysis reports of M1 5w30, I quit using it.
I bought Castrol Gold Edge SM for my car for various reasons. I loaded up on it when I discovered in a PDS that Castrol cheapened the SN version of Gold Edge.

Edge gave my 09 Civic fits in starting something nobody can figure out, and Mobil as this oil needs weekly explanations and testimonies on how really mis understood it is, and my uncle in Oklahoma has a Gremlin with 609,000 miles on it and has used only Mobil 1. Rest seem no different than dino.
I hate Mobil 1... everything I've put it in developed a bad leak within miles of putting it in. Also don't care for royal purple much. It made the Turbo on my eclipse get sound funky, fixed all problems listed above or slowed oil usage with good old Valvoline synpower.
Royal Purple. Burn-off is high in my engines that never burn any other oils. Can't justify the price. Picked it up on 50% off sale a few times.

Valvoline 20w/50 extra protection mineral.
Used it for running in new rings but horrible with the hydraulic tappets and drive train on my boxer. Ran hot and noisy.

Tried Syntec around 60k, seemed fine. But I'm not fan of BP so I stopped using it.
Tried Royal Purple, valvetrain seemed louder and the whole thing sounded somewhat 'not lubricated'. Not trying it again.
Been using Synpower for the past few years and the engine sounds butter smooth now. Same with NAPA syn since that's essentially Synpower so no surprise there.
Going to try Peak syn and G-Oil next just out of boredom. The G is going in tomorrow.

Most recently was my 97 Eclipse GST, evo3 Big 16g on e-85 started leaking from the oil pan gasket with 91K using M1. With that kind of mileage I kind of figured it would, no previous history on car so don't know what the previous owner used, I bought it stock so probably just used some quick lube/ dino oil. Swithched to Royal purple and turbo sounded super funky at full boost, drained it asap and used Valvoline Synpower untill I sold it.
98 Dodge Neon R/T Bought from 1 owner girl with 89k No leakes nothing, car was stored winter's and her dad had all maint. records since new, he used PYB it's whole life and mopar filter's. First thing I did when I got it home was swap out the PYB with M1, no more than 3k later the rear main was leaking and started getting damp around oil pan gasket, so that's strike two for me and the M1, but I still didn't learn my lesson.
96 Dodge Neon sohc 156k. This was my winter beater/ Ice racer, figured since I get M1 free i'll just run it in this to, strike 3! leaked like crazy all over and added a qt. to it every few weeks.
