He's yet another reincarnated former member with a grudge, or one that joins for the mission of bringing enlightenment to the hopelessly ignorant of BITOG.

I'm following your posts in a couple of threads. You are spot on. Our "buddy" seems to follow a consistently inconsistent line. He is invisible now as far as I'm concerned.

Relax Dr. Phil, its just a handle name. So you can put your e-[censored] back in your little pocket. Btw, I couldn't care less about your background. Advocating HM oil in a properly sealing and functional motor, immediately makes you lose any credibility you're trying to generate with whatever resume, only you are impressed with. Plenty of people work in the oil industry. Not just you little guy.

How does anyone in this thread know the condition of the engine, and whether a switch to a high-detergent and/or synthetic oil will require a shorter interval? Did I miss something in the OP? For all we know, the OP has been changing his oil every 3k miles since new.

OP, what has been the interval, how is the engine running, are there any issues we should now about. If we're giving generic, basekess recommendations, then I'd say you should keep doing what ever you've been doing. It appears to be working.

He asked which of two choices was best not whether or not he should alter course. I attempted to answer his up front question not do an engine diagnosis. I stand behind my recommendations. I don't offer frivolous advice. I don't mess around with other people's vehicles.

Not sure I can agree with your greasy diagnose LACKofGRACE.

Are saying all the oil manufacturerers are wrong when these promote high mileage oils for use AFTER 75000 miles or more.

Inform us with your learned knowledge so we can join the enlightened ones.

I will be looking out for the response.

Guess you'll have to wait until the next reincarnation as the member has left the building.

You are correct his name no longer is listed as a member.

Who was that masked whatever anyway ?

I guess the wait for the response overwhelmed the masked whatever.
