It's nicknamed "silver dollar plant." The make nice dried flowers. They like to grow in the shade of lightly wooded areas. I'm not sure what it's really called.

I think you got it! I looked it up and it looks the same as what I have... and yes it is growing in the lightly wooded area under the pines.
