Motorcraft 5w20 semi-syn for my '08 Merc Grand Marquis, with a Motorcraft filter. The car must like it because it's extremely quiet.

Ive used sopus syn oils. ive used Castrol syn oils. Valvoline and carquest syns too. mostly qsud 5w30 but I usually get the filter oil deal at advanced or autozone with a top of the line filter like the ultra. I like em all

'14 Focus has Pennzoil Ultra 5w30, put in right before they discontinued it. :-( Currently in search of a new, low-NOACK oil.

'12 Camaro gets Mobil 1 5w30. Currently in search of a lower NOACK, DEXOS-approved oil.

'05 Sport Trac gets Pennzoil Platinum 5w30

Not sure I have a favorite, as none of the above have ever failed me.

In the NV1500: Royal Purple synchromesh. In the engine, whatever's on sale or Super Tech. Always 5W30. Purolator L10111 filters. I have enough filters to probably last me the rest of my life (I'm 60).
