Samsung Captivate 2.2. Love it. Problem is Wife keeps it, so I am stuck with the stupid BB 8350 Nextel (work phone, but still a POS)...

Love the Android OS. Better than Apple IMHO.

We have 2 Blackberry Pearls - dang I must not be "in" anymore...

seriously, we've been due for an upgrade, but we're so used to the BB Pearl we're weary of switching...might have to, eventually, though..

I had a Droid X that I loved, but my company provided me with an LG Otimius Android a few months ago. If you haven't tried Google Voice, it is great. I ported my personal number to GV, and now I can text and call on my personal number, and use the business number all on one device!

I miss the screen size and faster processor of the X, but the Optimus is still a solid phone. I had iPhone envy for years until I got my X. Now - I put the iPhone in the same group as Blackberry - old news.

I have a Motorola Droid that I got December 2nd 2009. It's never had a screen protector on it, and the screen has no scratches. Tough stuff.

It's rooted, and running at 800mhz. I haven't been brave enough to go higher.

A Samsung Captivate (Galaxy S)

Rooted, w/ Cognition ROM, and now it's awesome. So glad I didn't go with the iPhone 4 when I got to upgrade lat year. And now that Amazon has a free paid app every day, it just keeps getting better. Flashed the phone with a different ROM at least 20-25 times and I still haven't bricked it. And Google chose Samsung for the newest Nexus so that might mean easier means of porting over new updates even if Samsung doesn't release new ones in forever.

droid x here saweeet phone! me and the little woman both have one came from lg envy 2 never goin back to a basic phone again

I have a the Incredible and my wife has the Droid X, both on Verizon. While her Droid X has a little bigger screen, I like my smaller Incredible. The HTC phone has a better "feel" and just functions better than the Motorola Droid X. I also think the screen graphics (such as weather) is much nicer on the HTC phone. Both are Android - but HTC and Motorola each have their own "look" on the screen - here is where HTC is better.

Nook Color just got it. While not phone, I'm amazed at the large ecosystem and portability of the droid platform.

One isn't locked in to single method with this platform.

Amazon app store is cool too.

On my second Galaxy S, the first one got bricked within a week, probably it was my fault, but all I did was root and install Lag Fix, all was well until I got the idea of messing with custom fonts. The phone crashed and kept restarting over and over, the only way to stop it was to pull the battery out.

Fortunately the store took the phone in and exchanged it. Now all I have is Launcher Pro and the phone work great so far.

I broke my ancient flip phone and picked up a Samsung Intercept as the replacement. Screen is just a little too small for regular web-surfing. VM is suppose to update it to Droid 2.2 this quarter(hopefully soon). Once in a while its slow when hitting the buttons. I'm in no hurry to replace my PC or laptop with a phone. Even the fanciest phone has a too small screen/keyboard.

It tethers fine to the laptop on the road. And, my TomTom is now collecting dust.

One of my previous phones survived various 'dunkings'. I doubt that any of the new phones will. I'm afraid of drops of water when its raining out.

PapaBear has got the right idea!

I'm on my third Droid 2 Global. The first two kept rebooting themselves. We'll see how this third one does. I still believe it's a flaw with the phone design in general...
