True, that, I always did hate a crowd. I can't imagine WM having anything worth standing in line for more than 5 minutes for at any price, anyway.
Incidentally, I did hit Sears and WalMart on that fateful Friday morning, and the differences in the civility of the crowds was night and day. I never thought that Sears would be a benchmark of class, but there you have it. Of course, Sears seemed to have plenty of their advertised specials to go around. I didn't get the feeling that the majority of the WalMart patrons were capable of murder or manslaughter, though, just general poor manners.
