Did a search could not find a definitive answer...By best i mean ease of usage, long lasting regardless of cost....I have used Zaino for several years, but have been wondering if there was something out there better....

Zaino is a very good product. I have used it with great results.

I find the standard Meguiars or Mothers products work very well for the money.

If you want to experiment with pricy products, check out Zymol's website. There prices will make your eyes hurt. I have never tried there expensive products, but I have read its in a class by its self.

What type of car, finish, color, condition of paint, etc. are we talking about? Wax can be subjective like oil, but as a general rule I like these three:

Durability- Collinite 476s. You will not find a tougher wax, and it looks better than 98% of the other waxes out there.

Looks- Collinite 915 Marque D'Elegance. Not quite so durable as the 476 but leaves a deeper, glossier sheen than anything else out there in the sub-2,000 dollar range.

Ease of application- Meguiars Yellow 26. Great looking wax, not hugely durable. This is the only liquid wax I use. If you don't mind waxing your car once a month, this would be the way to go. As noted above, if you're a novice or just don't have the time, this leaves great results for something so easy to put on/take off.

What color is it? What kind of durability are you looking for? Do you care for a liquid wax or a paste?

For durability I think Collinite 476 is great and I like the way it beads.

For that extra "POP" I like Pinnacle Souveran Paste or Pooboy's Natty's Blue.

i have heard a lot and read a lot of reviews about Colinite 476s and bought a tin of it. Also have Pinnacle XMT 180 Wax. Have not tried either one yet but I am pretty sure I will use the 476 for the winter

I agree with Collinite 476S. It's by far the most durable wax I've ever used. I buy mine over the internet. Just do a search and you'll find several good places to buy from. I think you can order it directly from Collinite as well.
Another extremely durable finish is a combination of two Zaino products, ZAIO and CS. It's hard to say which is more durable, the Collinite or the Zaino. Both of them are still beading water very well after 6 months of winter weather and car washes.
It just depends on whether you want to use a carnauba based wax, or a pure synthetic product that contains no wax at all.

I've not noticed much of a difference on silver paint between the 476s and the 915. If your car is garaged then you'd probably only have to wax once a year with the Collinite 476s.

The only chain store in my area that stocks it is Harbor Freight for 14.00. I've heard of some Pep Boys and Autozone's carrying it, but I've not seen it firsthand.

I'm not sure if this link is kosher with the mods are not, if not feel free to remove it. This is the guy I get mine from, free shipping and it arrives in two or three days: Collinite 476s

where do you purchase this??

If you're in Florida now, you can get free shipping from this ebay seller kvspmac7, the price is $13.25 which is cheaper than any online store.

Can't help you much since I'm in Ohio. But locally, 476s is sold at several places: Auto Zone and Federated Auto stores, detailing shop equipment suppliers and automotive paint dealers.

Zaino is ten times as durable as collonite. If you use Collonite, use 476 not 845. 845 is easy to use, but not very durable. ZAIO with one coat of Z5Pro or Z2pro, and you have at minimum 6 months durability.

Hmmm, can't say I second that. Zaino is ok, but nowhere near the same league as Collinite in terms of looks or especially durability.
