I am considering both Havoline and Mobil Clean 5000. Does anyone have any opinions of these or other conventional 10w30.The car is a '91 Volvo 940 turbo with 105,000 miles in New England. Thanks

I've seen 10w30 Rotella at Advance Auto Parts, but that was about 4 months ago. You might want to call and ask if they still sell it.

Just an opinion.
I would have to agree since the oil is designed to lube turbo engines that cost more than a whole car.

For a 91 turbo Volvo, I'd be looking at a more substantial oil such as a 5w-40, or even a high mileage oil. Might want to consider going with a 5w for cold starting during winter as well.

Do they have Delo 5W-40 or Rotella T 5W-40 up there? I would use either of these year round in your Volvo.

Here's an interesting twist that will cabash the price thing....

I saw the new Valvoline Synthetic 10W30 in a WalMart 5 quart jug for $19 ($3.80 a quart). That is getting down to YB pricing....so why go with dino when price is a wash?
