I know that I said even GDI since BG44k in their marketing videos stated that the BG44k platinum has been specifically formulated for GDI engines. Whereupon the original gold version is for port injection.

Waiting on parts to change the flame trap. This is mainly to maintain the engine clean when it's cleaned.

I also have a new Honda CRV hybrid 2023 which I would like to keep clean and prevent the calamity that has fallen upon the Volvo. Now I have a new car so I want to be a new dad and learn from mistakes of my past.

I think BG44K is recommended just one a year. What calamity happen to the Volvo??

The Volvo cards do suffer from PCV issues and you need to maintain it otherwise they are good cars.
