Their statement that it "coats the surface with positively charged molecules", just leads me to suspect that it is some kind of ultra slick ester synthetic molecule?????????????

They do keep insisting that it is a "petroleum" product. To me, petroleum is something derived from oil pumped out of the ground, so I don't consider esters to be petroleum at all.

Again, this is one of those profit deals. You buy the stuff, they make a profit and you feel better. Where does it say that the stuff really has to do something useful? You'll feel it work, first time you use it. You usually find what you are looking for.

If you do a search of the six hits, there doesn't seem to be any consensus on what this stuff really is.

I am looking for anybody who has some solid factual info on the chemistry/physics of this stuff??? (Or any other additive, for that matter.)

A fellow wanted to sign me up as a Bitron dealer in the mid- nineties. Lent me the video which I did watch out of politeness. I was not and am still not in pyramid schemes.

One of the examples they had was draining the oil from a car after treating it with their additive. They then drove the car for a number of miles and miraculously the engine was undamaged and good as new - better even.

This fellow I knew conducted a simliar experiment which, apparently, turned out ok but I was not a witness.

Maybe it's "Bitrex" (the embittering compound) updated with nanotechnology
