I noticed my stock position on sketchers disappeared today. I guess I was supposed to decide whether I wanted shares in the new g3 private company for $57/share or get paid $63/share. I never got any notification about this. Kind of like when they do a reverse split and take all their shares back and leave me with 10 shares at 500 a piece taking away any upside. That was the only hope lol. I can say well atleast I still have 500 shares worth barely anything that may do something one day. They arent doing anything at $500/share lol

Sounds like they took a page from AMC theaters.

Looks like they sent me messages about it. Didnt have much notice. I had about 12 days. Good thing I only lost $75 lesson learned. I guess i need to pay more attention to them. They dont exactly pop up at you when you log in. I probably would have went with the $57 option and held positions in that private company.

Remember Tony Romo says there's no T in Skechers. I love their slip-on shoes.

The stock has been flat since May.

The acquisition was above board and announced.

I am not exactly sure where you are going with this. You can own funds and maybe get away with ignoring them, stocks you have to monitor. Closely.

What brokerage are you using? Fidelity lays out your options clearly.

I've had many pairs of Skechers over the years for casual use...I'm wearing one of them right now. I do find the slip-ins quite funny, though. Just how lazy have we become that bending over to pop on or tie a pair of shoes is an evil that has to be vanquished? I understand it for the truly infirm or disabled, but that's a small, small percentage of customers. For the rest it's pure laziness.

last pair I bought the heal sits lower than the rest of the shoe on one of them. Should have swapped it out. Hurts me knee on that leg if I wear them all day
