What happened to Dodge & Chrysler?

Am I seeing this right? I went to both on their webpages and these are all I saw on their vehicle lineup
5 models on sale for Dodge (Hornet, Charger, Challenger, Durango and Ram Truck)
3 models on sale for Chrysler (Pacifica, Pacifica Hybrid and 500)
 
They're selling what sells and not selling what isn't. Unless it's the really good voyager which got discontinued for being too good of a value as it was cannibalizing Pacifica sales. Or the hornet which isn't a good value in the space and doesn't align with what 90% of the people in sub 35k small suv space want but rather the loud 10% which still wouldn't buy it. If they made a cheaper sxt vesion with a bit less stuff, no awd, and no turbo on that 2.0 for 2-3k less it'd be more competitive and efficient. But now the delusional out of touch ceo wants to sell us electric trash chargers or a "daytona" for I think 60k minimum. It's laughable they actually believe people are going to want them. Those that spend 60k+ on a charger/challenger do so for the loud rowdy fun v8 and if they're spending 35k they're getting the v6. So it's going to get even worse for them because of the awful management they've got over there. The Chrysler family knows it's so bad they're trying to buy the company back.

Actually, less than that.
No more Challenger being produced.
The Durango is being phased out. Have not heard of any planned replacement.
Ram is actually its own brand.
The last 300 was actually a '23 model, I believe.
Chrysler's line is the Pacifica.

The Chrysler Corporation was a public company formed from the assets of the Maxwell Motor Company on June 6, 1925. Walter Chrysler was President and Chairman of the board. Chrysler was never privately owned.
 
Stellantis is seemingly dismantling the company, almost as if on purpose. Firing experienced US workers and replacing them with inexperienced third world country new hires, closing US factories and moving production to places outside the US (South America / Mexico / Egypt / Canada), and dropping vehicles from their lineup. One could speculate that they really only ever wanted Jeep, and they aren't even trying to do any good with their other brands. The CEO thinks that the main issue with the company is that they do not have an affordable EV for sale. They are also trying to go upscale in the US simply by raising prices without providing anything other then a higher price tag. They have quality issues which people might otherwise overlook if they vehicles were affordable, but they are not. Also, Chrysler is supposedly famous for having weak electrical systems, and for a company trying to go electric, that's a challenge. They are run by Europeans who don't understand the US market.

If they were interested in selling cars in the US, they have affordable models that they could sell here, but don't. They could sell rebadged Dacia / Renault / Citroën / Fiats as Dodges here.
 
New Charger is being made now: first editions all electric but that body will also eventually come with the newish 3 Liter twin turbo hurricane that is now in RAM and Grand Wagoneer. That engine is powerful enough to match the HEMI.
300 is discontinued so the only Chrysler is the Pacifica. There may be new Chryslers coming. RAM is no longer a Dodge. Most of their North American models are Jeeps. What Stellantis will do with Chrysler brand is up in the air. Sedans don't sell and Dodge and Jeep have SUVs covered.

Dodge in in transition: Charger and Challenger (and 300 which was the same body type) are gone and replacement Charger is being built now. Change from FCA to Stellantis has caused some of this. The overall company is large: All Peugeots, Alfa Romeo, Opel, Fiats, Lancia, Maserati, Vauxhall, DS, Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler, Ram.

This is what Circuit City did three months before they went tango uniform. Get rid of all the experience, rob the place before the reputation dive drives it into further bankruptcy.

This is kinda what GM does with the Trax and maybe others, no? They're mostly Korean dressed up as a Chevy.

It seems to work to some extent, so I agree with you.
 
Ram, dodge, jeep, and Chrysler have about as few lines as GM has. GM has a bunch of badge engineered junk but only the same meager amount of truly different vehicles. I think Ford is the same way.

The problem is that the transition has been about as awkward as an elephant in a tutu.
Their new product will most definitely be some or all of the above cobbled up with a Dodge or Chrysler badge slapped on it.
So far, that has proven to be a major malfunction.
Off the top of my head, the Dart, 200, and Hornet are popping up as examples of MM's.
