I like variety, I need to mix it up daily for lunch. I can eat eggs everyday for breakfast, but I need a different lunch. Although lately its usually Pad Thai or pad see ew, a grilled chicken wrap or tuna on a roll.

would Love to be able to sit down somewhere, but only get 30min for lunch.

30 mins for lunch, not supposed to leave the place (but being on the move between sites, there's no biggie getting a pie or somesuch.

I cook a stew, or chop suey, or Indian on Sunday night, and 600-700g of meat with veges and the sauce gets us fed Sunday, and me lunches to Wednesday. Better half does a couple of stir fries, spag bol, or lasagne during the week, which usually makes up the other two.

If we have corned beef, or roast lamb will have a meat and sauce (ketchup) sandwich, same with roast chook...usually have a tin of tuna or sardines in drawer.

1st break: Yogurt. Some peanuts later.

Lunch: My Wife's Cambodian cooking.

Prepare sardines? They're already prepared!

Typically I have leftovers from a day or two ago. Occasionally a trip out for lunch - usually a sandwich from Subway or Jimmy John's. My stay-in lunches otherwise are typicall sardines (packed in mustard sauce) eaten straight from the tin, an apple and perhaps a granola or fiber bar, all from Aldi. There's one around the corner from work and it's nice to pick up 2 weeks' worth of lunches for what you might pay for 2 fast food meals.

And FWIW, once I toss the sardine tin into a bin, I give it a light spritz of Lysol. While I do enjoy those little fishies not everyone enjoys their aroma. Chewing gum is also very cheap at Aldi, which helps after lunch.

You just contracted yourself there. You say its not what you eat, it's how you eat it...I don't eat very many processed foods or fast food... Have you looked at how those are treated before you eat them? I like to eat light lunches so I don't get groggy at work in the heat. I also have a medical condition and eat accordingly due to it, I don't give a darn what your mom says since she's not my dietitian. How does that make me a WUSSAY? Grow up a little.

And people wonder why obesity is becoming a huge problem in today's society.

Enjoy your grease bombs while I'm enjoying my steak or chicken.

I usually eat Lean Cusines as I mostly work at home. I get them for 2 bucks on sale. I go to Wendys, local Mexican joints, or other burger places once or twice a week.

Lunch is usually around 11:00 or so, and usually at home (even though I'm working). I normally have a couple pieces of fruit, or some leftover vegetables from last nights dinner. I like to keep it light, and I eat to live rather than live to eat.

I'm not quite sure what that means, or in what language it's written, but I'll take a stab at answering it.

Health can be a bell curve, and while there are a few examples of people eating lots of unhealthy foods and living into their 90's, they are the exception rather than the rule.

There's a reason why you see so many guys in their mid-50's sporting a huge guts keel over from a heart attack or stroke.

I must say, I'm liking Wendy's new burgers more and more. I was distraught when they made the change, but it's grown on me. The W is quite good.

I'm still not sold on the new fries...

I buy home made soups, bread, and fresh cold cuts from a deli and veggies so that I can make sandwiches and salads at home for lunch.

When I'm on the road, it's whatever I can find at the airport - typically nothing healthy.

I swear to god, people that take other people's food at work; that is one of the most pathological things I've ever witnessed people do. I'd stick a camera somewhere to catch the [censored].

I know a 93 old Japanese man that doesn't eat meat only veggie and fruits. He digs weeds and does his daily walk every morning. Healthy and strong. Has no greed for money..rather he digs weeds(to rid the evil) that's he wealth....healthy mind!

Tuna sandwich with EVOO. Some tea and 2 cups of cherries, water, and a salad. Sometimes I will substitute the salad with carrots and broccoli.

I knew a 90+ year old Irishman that outlived many doctors who told him to quit smoking and drinking. when he passed, he had been drinking at least a fifth of Vodka and had smoked a few cigars a day for his entire adult life. I knew him for almost 15 of those. He was a lot of fun. It's all genetics.
