I was building a little bit of muscle for a few years, as I was going to the gym almost every single morning for 8 years, and then Covid hit and when the gym re opened I got divorced and moved to another town. Going to the gym isn’t something I am really interested in getting back into again though. With all of the walking that I do I have quite a bit of muscle in my legs, I’ve always had muscular legs ever since the 80s when I raced BMX and rode my bike everywhere I went.55 is a younyoung man now days should be focused on building as much lean muscle as you can and improving balance.
I do have a 30 pound dumbbell that I occasionally use, maybe I should start using it more frequently
