There’s a nice Italian restaurant attached to the hotel.

I have a doctors appointment and my doctor is in my home town (Streetsville Ontario) so I got here early to get something to eat and walk around the downtown area. A lot has changed since I was last here, the old variety store that my mom took me to as a kid now has a “for lease” sign on it. That place was Yonge’s Variety for longer than my 55 years The fish and chips shop is still there at least, and the library where I had my first library card

Yet another medical fiasco
Went to the ortho, happy to get a fast appointment.

Met the nurse which we know each other well. She said you need to call your insurance as they have refused your last 5 visits from over 1 year ago. I had no clue as I received no notice...

I walk to the car and make the call and the insurance company and doctor are both giving different stories but I was shown the paperwork from the doc and it's all on insurance papers...

The end result, I went home as it hasn't been resolved.... never had this issue ever......

A total joke.... getting a new insurance company and possibly a new doc.

This is off topic but I know a CT tech in a 300 bed hospital.

They have 3 GE CT machines and the CT team scanned 180 patients in 24 hours.
Pretty much like a NASCAR pit stop with patients.

60 patients per CT scanner = BIG $$$$$$

I spoke the CT tech today and he said they hit a new 24 hour record.

192 patients scanned with 3 CT scanners.

64 patients for each CT scanner.

I will be coming back to get a bottle of cologne and some long discontinued Old Spice Bar Soap that I haven’t seen in years. Cool deodorant too but won’t be getting none of that for now. Great prices on everything too except a few things. Glad they reopened and revamped it. Tons of cool stuff and best part yet 50% off all DVD, Blu-Ray and 4K disks.

Divert $20 a week for 1 year in wasteful spending and save for a washer and dryer.

Hotpoint/GE top load washer. The nice thing about these is that they are cheap and easy to fix if needed as they include a folded diagnostic sheet how to read codes on the inside of the cabinet and it has a bulky setting and a deep rinse option.

That’s what it is looking like unfortunately. Tigers aren’t doing to hot either. I was really wanting new faces in the playoffs. My coworker is a diehard Mariners fan and pulling hard for them so hopefully they do well if the Blue Jays don’t. But then again he’s the one who put down 2 grand on the Dodgers winning it all so he’s not too confident I guess.

They were 5 games ahead of the Yankees last week and now the Yankees have tied it up. If the Jays don’t win the AL East I don’t think they’ll make it through the Wild Card round. They are playing terrible baseball right now
