What are you doing right now?

Fetching that dog!

She’ll sit here for hours

Sitting here thinking about what happened earlier this evening.

Playing in the front yard with my Grandson, running around with a bubble-making leaf blower, and the neighbor's dog from across the street comes into my yard, barking and acting like your typical bully. My wife grabbed the boy, and I went and confronted the dog. It backed off (it's young), but turned and kept barking at the edge of the road.
The neighbor came out and yelled at the dog, and it turned and ran back to their yard.
I yelled across to the neighbor, "If that dog ever comes over here again, I'll just kill it."

That may seem extreme to some, but I'm sick of "out of control dogs" and "clueless owners."
If it so much as sets foot in my yard, or any other situation where I can find an excuse, it's dead.

With that said, we continued to play after that incident, and we never saw or heard the dog again. My eyes and ears were aware of everything, but Parker was having a ball as if nothing ever happened.

I could tell that this dog was going to be a problem by watching it over the last few months.

I'm remotely dealing with my Mom and my elder brother. He took the week off to drive up from South Carolina and remodel the bathroom at my parent's summer house. My Mom spoke to me as far as what flooring, vanity, paint.. to get. She relayed the info to him and he decided to get what he think would look best. My mom texted me a pic and it looks horrible. He got upset with Mom, Dad got involved and said your going to do what Mom asked for or you can leave and not get paid. So he left.

As a young man doing in home carpet cleaning, I was surprised by the lack of common sense some had regarding their dogs. So many didn't think to put the dog outside in a fenced yard away from the stranger entering their territory, in the basement, in another room I wouldn't be cleaning - anywhere other than roaming around as I tried to do my work.

One woman with a particularly large dog next to her actually said, "Be careful, he might bite."

I looked her in the eyes and flatly stated, "He'll only bite me once."

She turned and put the dog where he could not get to me. What an idiot.

I have had the same experiences in people homes. I remember one dog in particular. He was aggressive and ready to tear me up. Woman insisted he would not bite me. I told her it was either me or the dog leaving.

Another time a small dog latched onto my pant cuff. I drug it all the way across the kitchen.

Scariest one was three German Shepherds loose with me in the house. The owner was a judge and had them there for protection. Fortunately I kept cool and they cooled down a bit. But they were not happy that I was there.

Just some instances that come to mind.

That’s a good lady friend to have 🤩

When I split up with my ex wife in 2021 I went on Facebook dating and saw this cutie named Michelle who put in her profile that she loved a good medium rare steak. I immediately sent her a message and told her “you had me at medium rare steak!” 🤣 We dated for 4 months and on our second date she cooked me a great NY Striploin 😊 We’re still very close friends to this day, I hung out with her a couple of Fridays ago when she was in town (she moved to Quebec a couple of years ago)

My current girlfriend likes steak too but she gets her steak well done! I almost broke up with her after hearing that 🤪 (we’ve been together almost 3 years now)
In the 6 years we have been hangin' I have managed to get her to eat less than incinerated steak. Last night the steak was barely pink and she enjoyed it. Now to work on medium. The highlight of the meal was the baked potato. crisp shell and very fluffy on the inside. All I put on mine was butter and lots of it cuz the tater was huge. It was tasty.
