I feel bad now...because I set him up today. He went into Wendy's because they forgot his drink. He was talking to me the whole time via Bluetooth and I waited to he got to the counter and I heard him ask at the counter and I heard other people talking and I loudly asked him to tell me he loved me... I always get that fool... 
So much of the health care system is really bad. My wife had some eye inflammation. She was prescribed eye drops by the doc. Went to pick up the bottle of drops and found out the price was $1,300.00 and change.That's nothing short of criminal! It's sickening.

I can't imagine any "Eyedrops" that should cost $1,300.00! It's all an absolute ripoff!
This kind of nonsense is why there wasn't any sympathy for the Health Insurance CEO that got shot and killed.
I sure don't condone what happened to him, but this greedy system is the exact reason there was no sympathy for his death. This system has probably caused the premature death of a lot of people, simply because of the greed and outrageous costs.

Luckily for me I’ve got health insurance, dental insurance and vision insurance. Even if I only end up needing any of them once it’s still better than full price.
Needless to say we declined the drops and told the doc we needed something affordable. We wound up with something a little over $100. and that was with insurance.
BTW we could have probably gotten the prescription from Canada for about 80% less. We are getting screwed by big Pharma and Ins companies who want higher and higher profits.

I helped out the vacation rental guy and fixed some things in the house and warned him about a HVAC issue and I handled the water issue too. I stayed extra nights and he gave me a deal. He also will help me whenever I move to Florida...he sent me this text now...ok'd me to use it. Retired 33 year firefighter 
If you have never delved into hospital billing you have no idea what a scam it is.
Anyone that has ever said our system is good has never had to deal with this.
If he had insurance they would likely pay $7K or thereabouts. Insurance rate seems to be about 1/6th.

I had several blood tests in 2018 and got a bill for $10,400... I called them and told them I had insurance and they took it when the test was done.
She said if you pay $200 we'll mark it paid...

The guy is going to give himself deodorant poisoning at this rate.Nothing like a stick of deodorant to settle out the week
Just seeing what they could get away with.
@Pablo is right, they've all gotta pay for that new boat, that house that's way too big, that status symbol car in the driveway, etc.
