Went to the Philly Int. Auto Show

Take away the Corvette, and I'm sorry, but GM has nothing I'd buy. They are still not catching on in certain areas. Trucks are ugly and so are their cars. Interiors still behind.

Ford Mustang is awesome. Audi's have the nicest engine bays. The way they cover them with the plastic covering is nice. I was hoping to see the 2006 Ram.

Ford also has the nicest lineup of trucks IMO. The new Tacoma is the best small size truck. You can tell it's well built when sitting in it. Has that Toyota feel to it.

They had a Tuner section with a 300C with Lamborghini doors. Crazy stuff in that room.

Not too much exciting though. Anyone go to the Detroit/L.A. shows?

I thought so at first too, but it grew on me. I'm not even a fan of retro cars, but when you see the GT in person, it looks alot better. It's a great car for the money. Nothing though beats the Vette IMO. A bit too pricey for me.

It looks like a "mini" Mustang.

I think the new Mustang should be celebrated! Ford finally went back to the real styling that made this car great. Ever since the early seventies Ford has turned out crummy looking Mustangs, in my opinion. Remember the little ones they made in the mid to late seventies? Yuck...puke city! The eighties wasn't much better. No flair at all. The nineties was a decent attempt, yet still they lacked any real "muscle" look to them. But now they look a whole lot better and you can truly see the lines of the original "great" years of the Mustang in the overall shape. It looks much beefier and meaner now.
Way to go Ford!

I like the new mustang styling also. But it makes you wonder, what are the upcoming styling changes going to look like. Are we, in the next few years, going to see the bloated mustangs of the 71-73 years, then followed by the mustang II designs of 74-76. Fords mustang stylists will have a major challenge here. There were only one or two really attractive mustang shapes, and they reused one with this new car. Dont get me wrong, I hope they dont fail, I am just curious what inspirations they will draw upon in their new designs,
