My Walmart sells 5 qt jugs of several different oils
BUT no quart bottles !!!!🤨🤨🤨
Anyone know why ???🤔🤔

We aren't your Walmart. Order it online if they don't carry it. Free shipping to the store or free shipping to the house over $35.

They sell what sells. If a particular item is not moving, they don't stock it at that location.
My local Walmarts all have a bunch of jugs and individual quarts in all weights and brands.

Before the Havoline smart box came out, I would occasionally buy a quart for my truck that takes 6 quarts. My car only uses 4 quarts so two jugs usually did the job unless I wanted top off oil.

I did the math
I need 7 quarts of oil for an OC
I don't want to buy 10 quarts when all I need is 7

Do the math again,
Two 5 qt jugs = $46
Seven 1 qt bottles = $56

Sure, you could do 1 jug and 2 qts for $39 and save $7 vs the 2 jugs.

Or if you bought 2 jugs one time, you would only need 1 jug next time

So 2 oil changes for $69 if you buy jugs
$112 if you buy 14 qts
$78 if you buy 2 jugs and 4 qts.

You never plan on doing another oil change on this car, or for the rest of your life? Oil in the jug pretty much lasts forever, or at least as long as you will live. Or will buying that second jug be a financial hardship even though buying 7 individual quarts would cost more than two 5 quart jugs?

Some products only come in quarts, with no 5 quart jug.

In Example: SuperTech automatic transmission fluid formulated for low viscosity Dexron VI & Mercon LV. 1 quart bottles only. And it cost more than Mercon LV from Ford.

Just go to Mazda dealer and get seven quarts of the good high moly oil. End of the story.

Negative, Ghostrider. My Walmart still has this in gallon jugs. Only engine oils are sold in 5qt jugs, I am not aware of any other auto fluids sold in this volume.

If I ever accumulate spare quart containers, I retain about 4 of these if the instance ever arose where I only needed one quart of something. I will not waste the money. Buying in larger quantity makes the price cheaper, for packaged items.

I don't do the piece of a jug deal
I prefer one 5 QT jug and 2 qt bottles and I'm done
Don't care anything about juggling piece of a jug for next time and then keep adding and subtracting how much of another jug I need.
Life's to short to worry about that SH\T !!!! For a simple oil change

Ain't going !!

But not so short that you can't gripe about it on BITOG

Just stating facts
Confusing sometimes I guess
