Unfortunately I found some oil on sale, so it had to follow me home.

ST Synthetic 10W-30 12 quart bag was $27.50
ST Synthetic 0W-20 and 5w-30 12 quart bag was $34
QS Euro 5W-40 1 quart was $3.50
QS Euro 5W-40 5 quart jug was $11
QS 20w-50 1 quart was $3.50
Valvoline Euro 5w-40 5 quart jug was $16
ST Advanced 10W-30 5 quart jug was $12
Valvoline Maxlife Synthetic Blend High Mileage 12 quart bag was $32

There were several other oils on clearance, particularly 10w30 oils.

I don’t need any more oil (garage is FULL with Lube) but decided to waltz by the oil section in ChinaMart while wifey was shopping nearby just to entertain myself and ended up not being able to control my oil hoarding desires when I saw the Clearance Tags.

Grabbed a few jugs of the “thick stuff”.

Still plenty of 5w20 Supertech boxes, Quakerstate jugs and even 0w40 Mobil 1 12qt box that I left for someone else to enjoy.

$15.50 for the 5qt jugs
$21 for the 12qt box of Valvoline.
Not my favorite flavor of oils to use but… Clearance Oils control my life.

Cheap grease $4.50. I like to keep something like this around just to dip a finger and grease up press fits like bearing races, roll pins, u-joint cup bores etc

I also grabbed the last two gallons of Peak Asian Blue for $8.00

Local WM has ST 10K 0W20 box $34 and VL ML 5W30 Blend box $21.

Already have change of NAPA 5W30 and Castrol 0W20 on hand so didnt pick up anything. Not a bad deal though.

I tried to resist this one, but I failed miserably. I stopped at a Walmart in GA for other stuff and I took a detour through the oil aisle. They had 12 qts boxes of 0W-20 for $24. Couldn't help it, brought one home with me. Left 2 boxes on the shelf. The 5W-20 and 5W-30 were marked down to $22, but someone cleared those out.

I picked up a 3 gallon box of Valvoline high mileage sun blend 5w-30 for $25. Other stuff had been similar,y priced but the shelves were empty. I didn’t need this but I figured it would be great for my Scions or my Chevy and it’s hard to resist name brand oil at just over $2 a quart.
