Walmart and 5 qt jugs

When Wal*Mart says jump, the suppliers ask how high on the way up.
Autozone carries quite a few oils in 5+ qt jugs
Kragen has some oil in 5 qt jugs too, but not as many choices as WM.
As my castrol rep says, walmart is like the big gorilla in the business they get what they want. And they buy the product by truck loads. My shop is a castrol auto center and we can't even get jugs

I emailed Valvoline and asked them if they make 20W50 jugs,and they said Walmart pays the oil companies to make the jugs,and Walmart hasn`t "placed an order" for 20W50 in 5 quart jugs :^(

As I've been told (and have not verified) but I've been told that Walmart some how holds the rights to 5 qt containers for oil. All the other places I've seen that have large containers have always been slightly off of 5 qts, either 5.25 or 5.5qts, but I've yet to see a 5qt container for sale outside of a Walmart.
Not sure how true that is, it would seem odd that a company can own the right for oil in 5qt containers, and it could simply be that I haven't noticed it in 5qt containers, so i must stress that I have not verified this information

Pep Boys, Strauss, and Autozone carry One Gallon Jugs.
i buy 5 quart jugs of resolute (fleet farm) oil for $8.50
Went into an Autozone today and they had 5qt jugs out the wazoo. Not quite as cheap pricewise as Walmart, but pretty close. Plus, Walmart hardly ever has the right grades I'm looking for (you guys keep getting the good stuff!). Maybe Advance will wise up next.

Both Walmart and Advance Auto sell 5qt jugs of Motorcraft 15w40 oil where I live.

Yes, the display was emphasizing the 5 qt jugs. Many brands were stocked.
