I get where you are coming from, but seriously, how long have you lived in the area? I'm from NY, and I remember since I was a kid, everyone getting their cars ready for winter, in terms of wiper blades, tires, making sure the salt and cat litter was in the trunk, window scraper, door lock de-icer, checking anti-freeze condition, etc, etc.
You're complaining about having to use a different washer fluid in the winter and not knowing about it? It's not a news flash. Up until recently, winter fluids were really bad to use against bug splatters, and usually streaked a bit more.
I'm pretty certain that the availability of summer blends is driven more by consumer demand or custom as opposed to C. Montgomery Burns pressing his fingertips together and deciding to foist a summer blend on people who were expecting an all season blend.
If you want your old fluid out, just push your washer button until the stuff runs out.
One way or another, placing such a complaint on a website where people subject their engine oil choices to a process that would impress a homicide detective is probably not the best course of action.
