The German auto industry is collapsing because of the cheap Chinese imports. They can't tarriff them because there trade is pretty close to equal - they sell China as much as China sells them.

That's juxtaposed to me just getting back from a small Caribbean island and seeing 13 BYD vehicles and other Chinese brands i can't remember.
