A couple months back I asked the group which flavor of ATF to use in my 2018 Jetta auto trans code QPA. Most stated that it should use LV fluid, like the VW fluid with the part number ending in 540. After going to two different dealers, and one online store, with my VIN, they indicated that I should use the normal 3309 type fluid, like the VW fluid ending in 25. ????!!??? Anyway, I used OEM 025 fluid but also sent out the old fluid for analysis: it had a CST of 5.8 - which is closer to an LV fluid than normal fluid. And, of course, there are no specs in the owners manual. grrrr!

Aisin/Toyota transmisisons usually aren't picky. Maxlife will work fine. LV will work fine
