I picked up a new (used) quad over the weekend. Nothing too crazy, 60 hp Honda 450r.

The guy I picked it up from gave me 4 quarts of VP 5w50 atv/utv and 4 quarts of VP U4-1000 5w50. I haven't been able to find much info on these products. I can't even find a SDS out there. Any have experience with VP 4T oils?

Nope, not the oil, but the fuel, and I find no difference between VP and others. The CB500f I used to ride seem to run best on Rotella 5w40. I know it not a quad, but a Honda. I like Honda powersports stuff, likely the longest lasting of the bunch. Tranny is clunky, but It feels like honda has more torque at lower and mid rpm ranges than the others. In 2014 I bought 2 250 recons and compared them to my 88Atc 250s, and the rear ends were the exact same.

Have any pics of the 450r, I suppose it is a newer model, feul injected?

It's a 2005 kicker. It's a stock stroke and stock bore, racers edge did the porting, valve work (+1 valves), 13.5:1 CP piston, new crank with a carrillo rod, monster shorty exhaust, dynatek ignition, +4" stellar swingarm, JJ&A play axle, Houser +1 steering stem. It was originally running T4 fuel, but now it's running on 110 octane.

I run T6 in most of my off road toys. Never had an issue with it.
