VOA Shell Rotella T5 Arctic Blend 0w40

While in Toronto this summer, celebrating our anniversary, my wife and I stopped at a Canadian Tire on the way home so I could browse oil. I picked up a 5L jug of Shell Rotella T5 Arctic Blend 0w40 (CF / CF-4 / SJ). Below is the VOA:

Potassium - 3
Sodium - 2
Boron - 2
Silicon - 1
Calcium - 2694
Magnesium - 6
Phos - 1100
Zinc - 1227

kV@100C - 14.34
Flashpiont - 405F
TBN - 10.4

All in all, this looks like a pretty conventional HDEO. No moly and no boron, but a pretty healthy shot of ZDDP and a decent TBN. I plan to run it in my M54 2.5L BMW motor this winter.

Looks solid, would've been nice to see some Boron/Moly, but solid none-the-less.
