'Vette, anyone?

A great deal if you want that much power. You don't have to worry about breaking it in. After those rental miles you know the car has flushed out any defects too. in some ways this is better than an old man 5% throttling his car for 200 miles a year until the warranty is up and you buy it and find out its got problems if pushed hard.

Maybe compared to a Rolls Royce. Actually the C5s and newer models aren't bad, especially for their price point...

The C4s were world beaters at the time, pulling 1.0 lateral g forces on the Gatorback tires that the car was designed around.

Old school? Antique? Sure. But from a performance standpoint, especially price performance, really hard to beat.

Unless you buy the new one which is an even better deal.

According to Autotrader, there are over twenty Hertz edition Z06s available some of which are priced under $60,000.

For just a little more you can get the brand new one, who in their right mind wants last weeks leftovers for dinner instead of a fresh steak.

You have no idea what you're talking about. The cars are priced about 60% of new.

No matter how many times you repeat that, it is still wrong.
